My Story:
I grew up on a farm in Southwest Queensland & completed all my schooling and University study in Brisbane. I was an active teenager & it was my years of competitive rowing that led me to a career in Physiotherapy. I worked in Queensland for a number of years mainly in the public health sector, and it was my work on Maternity wards that sparked my interest in Pelvic health.
I moved to London for a couple of years working within both the NHS and private hospital setting, as well as fitting in plenty of travel! I’ve now settled in Sydney with my Husband and our crazy Boston Terrier 'Frankie'.
What makes me different:
Over my career I have been lucky enough to work across a variety of clinical areas, both in public and private health. I’ve been able to work with a range of musculoskeletal patients, as well as neurological and orthopaedic rehab, cardiorespiratory, maternity and gynaecological surgery patients. I feel this broad experience has allowed me to holistically manage my patients and think outside the box.
I have been able to work with women through their antenatal and postnatal journey, including day 1 post birth, and absolutely love to work within a multidisciplinary team including obstetricians, midwifes, lactation consultants and other birth partners to provide the best care for my patients.
I really enjoy hearing all of my patients stories, working alongside them to achieve their personal goals & empowering them to better understand their bodies.
