Hazel O'Donovan
Pelvic Health and Musculoskeletal. I work in Bondi Junction and Cammeray.
My Story:
My name is Hazel O’Donovan, and I’m a physiotherapist from Ireland. I qualified in Trinity College Dublin and began my career in private practice, where my passion for women’s health blossomed. As more women sought specialised care, I realised the urgent need for expertise in this area. This led me to do courses and learn as much as I could in the area to help women coming to me in clinic. I loved the area so much that I started workshops in my local area and went on to set up The Female Physio, an online platform providing free information, tips, and exercises to empower women on their journeys.
When I’m not at work, you’ll often find me walking, running, meeting friends, or diving into a good book. I’m passionate about mindfulness and psychology and am fascinated by how stress impacts the body—both physically and mentally.
What makes me different:
I’m deeply committed to empowering women to optimise their health and well-being. Through my journey, I’ve combined evidence-based practice with a compassionate, personalised approach to care. I understand that women’s health is deeply individual, and I strive to create a supportive space where women feel heard, valued, and understood. From pelvic pain to postpartum recovery, I tailor my treatment to meet the unique needs of each patient. My ultimate goal is to help women feel strong, supported, and confident in their bodies at every stage of life.
