Alex Turner
Pelvic Health and Musculoskeletal Physio. I work in Cammeray.
My Story:
I am a born and bred Sydney girl. I have always had a very active lifestyle from a young age, which was heavily influenced by mum, who is a PDHPE teacher and an avid-marathon runner. I have always loved being outdoors, especially by the water, and enjoy exercising regularly. I knew for quite some time I wanted to be a physiotherapist and completed my Bachelor of Physiotherapy degree at the Australian Catholic University. Since graduating, I have worked in a large metropolitan hospital, as well as private women’s health and musculoskeletal practices in Sydney.
What makes me different:
I’d like to think I am a very good listener. I love hearing people’s stories and working with them to achieve their goals. I am passionate about Women's Health Physiotherapy and improving the health and well being of women across the life stages. I am fascinated by the female body and the changes associated with pregnancy, post partum and menopause. I take a very holistic approach when assessing and treating clients and I love working alongside other members of the multidisciplinary team including GP’s, gynaecologists, obstetricians and midwives. I am always eager to learn and continue to further my post-graduate training opportunities in women’s health.
